EMF Internet Resources
We at Isar Energetics are not actively involved in official EMF research and rely on the scientific community to keep us astride the latest developments in the field. We recommend the following selected websites:
This database, maintained at the RWTH Aachen University, summarises scientific research data into the effects of EMF. Active since 2005, the database impartially documents over 25,000 publications and is available for free (donations welcome) in English and German.
Between a Rock and a Hard Place
A science Blog of opinions on mobile phone safety by Dr. Dariusz Leszczynski, a molecular biologist, who is currently Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki, Finland and former Research Professor with the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority. As an invited Expert to Working Group on Non-Ionizing Radiation (RF fields) in Lyon, France, May 2011, he participated in amending the IARC classification of the carcinogenicity of RF radiation to 2B. He also lectures world-wide on the possible health effects of EMF, maintaining a neutral position, and is a proponent of “the precautionary principle”.
Electromagnetic Radiation Safety
This website is run by Dr. Joel Moskowitz PhD of the School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley since 2013. Research papers and press articles are summarised with constructive comment and useful information regarding RF exposure, its possible health effects and safety.
EMF Facts Consultancy
Don Maisch PhD based in Australia has been involved in EMF research for 20 years and has written and published extensively on the health impacts of both power-frequency and RF/MW exposures. His website maintains a contemporary Australian commentary on the subject of EMF exposure and safety.
Environmental Health Trust
A non-profit organisation founded in 2007 by Devra Davis PhD MPH, who lectures at University of California, San Francisco and Berkeley, is the authoress of over 200 publications in books and journals on the subject of environmental health. The organisation works to promote a healthy environment and safe technology through its research and disseminates such information through its website.
Formed in 1988 by Alasdair Philips, an electronics engineer and a leading “alternative voice” in the UK on the subject of the health effects of EMF, this English-only website offers information and practical advice on a broad spectrum of aspects relating to EMF exposure.
Active since 2009, this German-only website offers information supporting the idea that EMF does have biological effects that may lead to health issues in the population. It also provides practical advice on how to minimise everyday exposure.
